Our tour guides Ace and Marilou were wonderful! They were on time, communicative, thoughtful and awesome people! The whale sharks are majestic. While they take care to ensure safety of the sharks, they do feed them to keep them in the area where you watch from a boat or swim in the sea.

It was a completely unique experience that one will never forget.
It's a big tourist attraction, which means it took over three hours to get to the sharks, but the result was worth it.
All tourists are trained in what they can and can't do, you get vests (you can/don't take them off when swimming), diving goggles, a snorkel and fins. Your guide is with you on the boat (ours had a go camera with it, so we have beautiful photos and videos).
You spend around half an hour with the shark, with a quick dive under the water as soon as the plankton-feeding shark approaches.
Overall, we had an indescribable feeling about it, and it's exactly the kind of experience you have to experience for yourself.
